Freshly milled whole grain rye flour adds depth to any recipe, sweet or savory. It can be substituted for 1/4 of the wheat flour without adjusting other aspects of a recipe. Our certified organic Danko rye is custom milled for us at Meadowlark Community Mill, Ridgeway, Wisconsin. No preservatives or additives means that, for storage longer than a couple of weeks, you should freeze or refrigerate.
